Resort Deposits, Payments and Fees
Deposits: Because of our small size, cancellations have a significant affect. To secure your accommodations, a deposit of 50% of cabin rate or $600 for a weekly booking by check or credit card for the accommodations is required to guarantee a reservation. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER. The deposit will be applied towards your balance which will be due at check-in. A written confirmation will be sent by email or postal mail. Deposits will be refunded only if the cabin is cancelled 90 days prior to reservation and or the accommodation is rented to another party at full rental price, minus a $25.00 service fee. There are no refunds for early departures. Guests are responsible for themselves and their children. A fee for any damage to Garden Lake Resort property including smoking damage will be charged to your account. Rates & Fees
Rates quoted in all our brochures are subject to Minnesota and local taxes. Accommodation rates are subject to 6.5% sales tax, 3% lodging tax. All rates are subject to change without notice! Check-In/Check-Out Varies by Season
We will do our best to have your rental unit early, however, our standard check-in time is 2:00pm for our cabins. We ask that guests check-out of their cabins by 9:00am on their day of departure. An extended check-out time may be possible during our fall, winter and quiet seasons. Guest accounts should be settled by 7:30pm the night before check-out. Extended check-in and check-out times are offered during our spring, fall, quiet and winter seasons whenever possible. Smoking
We strive to provide our guests with a clean and odor free cabin. As of October 1, 2007, all cabins will be non smoking at Garden Lake Resort as stated in County Ordinance #20 and Minnesota Statute #144.411-144.417. Guests who ignore this policy will be charged with a petty misdeameanor for the maximum fee allowed under Minnesota Statute 327.742 and an additional fee of $100 for additional cleaning services required. Boats, Canoes & Motor
Each cabin comes with a row boat and or an aluminum canoe. One boat per cabin is free, motor rentals are extra!
