Lakeside Decks:

In addition to the entry decks located on each cabin, there are large lakeside decks in front of the cabins for all guests to use. One deck is located level with the cabins. The mid-level deck is located between the cabins and the docks. Both decks have tables and chairs for eating, relaxing, playing games, etc. The large upper deck has level access for older or disabled guests to access lake viewing, seating and dining. 


Swimming Beach:

A sand beach is available for swimming and launching canoes or kayaks. Beach area is safe for wading with young children with no drop-offs.


Boat Launch:

There is a gravel boat launch located at the end of the resort for launching personal watercraft. 


Docks:

Two large fishing docks are located just below our cabins for easy access. Both docks are connected to each other as well as to the two-level lake deck above. Guests bringing their own boats can park them at these docks. Electrical outlets are located at the base of each dock for charging batteries, powering bilge pumps, etc. Swimming ladders are located at the end of each dock.


Campfire Ring:

Campfires are always a hit for guests winding down at the end of the day. Guests can gather around the campfire ring to roast marshmallows, tell fish stories, or lose themselves to the trance of the flames. 


Lakes:

The fisherman and paddler have a choice of fishing and paddling Garden Lake, White Iron Lake, Farm Lake, South Farm Lake or miles of the Kawishiwi River located in the BWCAW. All are easily reached by a boat or canoe from Garden Lake Resort.

A lit fish cleaning house with electric outlets and running water is available for cleaning fish. All fishing regulations are posted for the Chain of Lakes.

Garden Lake and connected lakes offer a wide variety of fish including walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, black crappie, and blue gill
