With many years’ of experience owning and operating Garden Lake Resort, in Ely, Minnesota, we confidently provide our guests with the best in modern comforts and conveniences in a pristine Northwoods setting.
Cabins: Garden Lake Resort offers newly remodeled, lake-front, housekeeping cabins. Our winterized cabins are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, making them comfortable all year long. All cabins at Garden Lake Resort are fully furnished housekeeping cabins that come with a free canoe or row boat option. We also offer extra canoes for rent at $25/day. Other cabin amenities include Wi-Fi, 50" flat screen TV, BluRay player, stereo system and air conditioning. Linens for hide-a-beds available upon request. Handicap ramps are available on request.
Fireplaces: Our cabins contain beautiful fireplaces in the living room for extra comfort and a cozy atmosphere. A warm fire place is a great way to relax at the end of the day's adventures.
Kitchens: Each cabin contains a kitchen/dining room with built-in cabinets, refrigerator, electric cooking stove, microwave, several small appliances, pots, pans, and dishes. Each cabin also comes with an outdoor gas grill to compliment your cooking needs. Note: Our guests provide their own dish towels, soap, cookin oil and housekeeping products. Vacuum cleaners, brooms and mops are provided.
Living rooms: Each cabin contains a living room with a queen sleeper/hide-a-bed futon couch for extra sleeping requirements and large picture windows for a beautiful view of the lake. Linens upon request for our hide-a-bed.
Bedrooms: Three of the cabins (Moose Lodge, Loons Nest, Bears Den) contain two bedrooms with *queen size beds, large clothes closets and additional closets in each room. We provide bedding for all beds and hide-a-beds. Linens upon request for our hide-a-bed.
Bathrooms: Each cabin contains a full bathroom with a tub, shower, sink, and toilet. Note: Our guests provide their own bath towels, soap and shampoo/conditioner.
Our resort is made up of four theme-based cabins: Bear’s Den, Moose Lodge, Loon’s Nest, and Deer Haven. Each lake-facing, two-bedroom cabin sleeps up to four. Our size makes us the perfect Minnesota resort lodging for family reunions, retreats, and book club and other club/group getaways.
Our size also ensures that even the smallest of details won’t go unnoticed. Each of our cabins is meticulously maintained, and the grounds that surround our cabins are lovingly cared for. Our guests enjoy our abundant flower gardens in summer.
